YOUTH EN ROUTE
empowering young theatre artists 7 - 16 years old
Youth En Route is a youth theatre company that creates adaptations and new work for younger audiences. It is composed of students in 4th-10th grade. Youth EnRoute provides children of all races, ethnicities, and gender identities opportunities to gain confidence in themselves and to allow others to see their authentic selves. We build community and give children a safe space to discover their creative voice. Youth En Route is performed and designed by the participants and middle/high school interns. Adults play the roles of director, wrangler, and mentors. Youth EnRoute offers production experiences and classes, all of which are offered on a sliding scale and have scholarship opportunities available.
